Eve Online operators are currently indulging their community in a new Fanfest shindig, site Eurogamer revealing the first images from the company's new - Dust 514.

The Icelandic developer won't be drawn on when the new title will emerge, while details are scant beyond hints of a sci-fi setting.

Still, we do hear that CCP will dispatch with the subscription based business model in favour of a micro-transactional stance.

Virtual in-game items will be sold using a real-money marketplace and it is through this approach CCP hope to fund the title. We'll have more soon.
