Transmission Games may have done a sterling job on Ashes Cricket 2009, while the firm has also just released Heroes over Europe. Sadly, these big name releases couldn't prevent some 20 jobs being lost at the developer this week.

The cuts at the Australian games firm were revealed by Gamasutra today, the redundancies confirmed to employees yesterday.

Apparently, a new game based on the flick Red Tails was to be made alongside LucasArts, but this project is now said to be on-hold (or axed completely) prompting these unfortunate job losses.
