Kojima considers remake of original Metal Gear
Veteran game maker Hideo Kojima has said Konami are considering employing a Western developer to remaking the original Metal Gear Solid, the game that kick-started the multi-million selling series.
Kojima himself would like to remake the classic action title, but it seems he is simply too busy to commit development time to the project.
"It doesn't have to be me who makes it. I made it a long time ago. It could be somebody young that maybe has more abilities than I do It would even be good if a foreign production team even did it," Kojima tells Kotaku.
