Secret World slips as Funcom cut staff
60 developers to leave
Troubled times in Scandinavia, MMO specialists Funcom confirming that they have been forced to cut 20 percent of their workforce, and that The Secret World has been delayed as a result.
It seems their most recent release, Age of Conan, isn't pulling in the punters as they might have hoped - and a "significant delay" for their work in progress is now on the cards.
The Secret World was due in 2010, but 60 jobs out of a total staff of 300 have been axed this week.
Funcom lost 34 million USD last year, and are in the process of trying to move to Quebec.
