Capcom producer fears for Japanese games business
Inafune unimpressed by TGS line-up
Speaking at a Dead Rising 2 bash at the Tokyo Game Show, producer Keiji Inafune has said that the Japanese games business is in dire straits, the Capcom executive fearful after having witnessed the titles on offer at the show.
"Personally when I looked around all the different games at the TGS floor. I said Man, Japan is over. We're done. Our game industry is finished'," railed the industry veteran.
That said, the big cheese was pleased with the titles Capcom had on show, stating their games 'kick ass'. How convenient.
Having said this, other attendees at the Tokyo bash were also said to be less than impressed by the wares on display, so perhaps that 12 hour flight was better left un-boarded after all.
