Battlefield Heroes passes two million users
EA plan fresh updates to free-to-play shooter
EA drop by today to confirm that Battlefield Heroes has passed the two million unique users mark, and with this in mind, the publisher also confirms that they will deliver an autumnal update and a raft of new maps later this very month.
The new content is earmarked to officially arrive on the 30th of September, and DiCE will also roll out an upgrade of the Gunner class, as well as a new friends system.
"We've also added a brand new ranking system for the game - players can earn cool new titles for their heroes as they play - showing everyone on the battlefield how dedicated they are," beams general manager Ben Cousins.
The new maps being introduced for Battlefield Heroes will boast an autumnal theme, while EA are running a competition via the title's official site in order to name the new map in question.
