So, it looks like that much hoped for but unlikely pre-Christmas release is off the cards, following their Tokyo Game Show keynote with news revealing when 5 will finally emerge.

The new game from genre masters will hit in March 2010, making a release anywhere else before this date very unlikely indeed.

Hirai and co have yet to hint when GT5 will emerge in other regions, but it seems certain now that a release is indeed off the agenda for the festive period.
