A semi-official encyclopaedia has been unveiled by DK this week, the book publisher confirming that the fans companion will be released on the 2nd of November.

The book will cost 30 GBP in the UK, and is described as the ultimate bible of all things Halo. The story, characters and more from Halo, Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo Wars and Halo 3: ODST are promised.

The book is in full colour, and is a whopping 352 pages in length. An introduction from Halo mastermind Frank O'Connor is included:

"In the following pages, you'll find a great deal of depth and drama and data, some familiar, some new. It's fiction, of course, but we only ever want it to feel real. Because it's real to us. These are places and times that we want to share with you."
