While forumites bicker over who said what, PlayStation Network chief Eric Lempel appears to at least partly clear up some of the debate concerning the Go's range of 'Minis'; smaller titles designed to spearhead innovation among small-time game makers.

Reports had previously suggested that Minis would not be patchable, nor would they support action, something Lempel seems to confirm in part - although he does hint that future progress for the service may see such restrictions removed.

"You can patch Minis, but we won't have multiplayer functions in the beginning," Lempel revealed to Destructoid.

"Basically, to get these developers on board, and to make it easier to test and get it through the pipeline, we won't be allowing that functionality for the first stage of Minis."

A exec had previously also stated that Minis won't have support, either, something that seems likely given the lack of multiplayer support.
