Xbox 360 wireless adapter on the way?
FCC reveals new hardware from Microsoft
Reports online reveal that a brand new, Xbox 360 wireless adapter could be on the way, the FCC letting slip that it is testing a new 802.11N Wi-Fi contraption designed for use with Microsoft's console.
The adapter is said to boast faster wireless speeds, according to the FCC, and cleverly a second antenna will be used to boost the signal. The new device will connect via USB.
Microsoft have yet to confirm the existence of this new gizmo, but there is speculation the device could be linked to the Xbox 360's autumn update, which will usher in support for 1080p Zune video and Netflix HD action.
We'll bring you more on this as Microsoft colour-it official. Thanks Gizmondo.
