Wipeout HD coming to Blu-ray

Sony Computer Entertainment Europe have this morning confirmed that Wipeout HD will be getting a full Blu-ray release for the PlayStation 3 console.
The new disc-based release will bundle the full original game in alongside the more recent Fury-branded expansion pack - and it'll be available for a reasonable 19.99 GBP in the UK, we're told.
A release on October 16th is mooted by the friendly folks at SCEE, while the European release will apparently cost players 24.99 Euro.
The new pack will offer 14 reversible tracks, 12 teams and a smorgasbord of weaponry, while you'll be able to play online with eight other racers and we're promised "a soundtrack packed with some of the biggest names in dance music" which we're not sure can really count as selling point.
