Siliconera do it again, it would seem, the website reporting on a new trademark filing from in Japan.

According to word in today, the company have registered the rights to 'The Last Story'.

While the trademark is registered in Japan, the filing itself - including the name in question - is made in English, which we're reliably informed could mean that the game is an international release. Japanese-only titles are usually registered in Japanese apparently.

Inevitably, Nintendo are refusing to comment on this idle speculation, but the name alone in bound to get fans excited.
