A new world record has been set for the completion of old school classic Pac-Man, a young man called David Race completing the game in three hours, 41 minutes and 22 seconds.

This new record represents an improvement of 42 seconds over Chris Ayra's previous record, and a new milestone for fans of the 8-bit hit to aim for.

On the way to completing to the kill screen, Race achieved the maximum score possible, and it looks likely that this record will stand for some time.
