Porn boss hopes to see adult flicks on PSN
Worldwide distribution could aid porn firms
Speaking with UK games industry publication MCV, porn industry big wig Steven Hirsch has said that he hopes Sony will open up HD movies on the PSN to a worldwide audience, who he hopes to sell adult entertainment to.
Hirsch is boss of Vivid Entertainment, home to 'Debbie Does Dallas... again' and other seminal pictures.
Vivid are in the process of making an assault on the Japanese market with DDM.tv, and he hopes to reach other potential market places via services like the PSN.
"As long as proper age verification is in place, there is no reason why consumers should not be allowed to view adult movies on any device that they desire. It's too early to say to what extent this could help our business, but it certainly has real potential," the exec concludes.
