We've already heard reports which reveal that of the in the have rocketed in the wake of the GamesCom price cut and the announcement of the PS3 Slim, and now we hear is also newly enamoured of Sony's console.

According to reports in from Famitsu, the PS3 Slim sold in excess of 150,000 in the three days following the launch of the cut price console, which beats the 88,000 sold when the system first went on sale.

This is the biggest tally the PS3 has ever amassed in Japan over such a short period, and news of this early success will no doubt cheer who were no doubt looking boost sales with their maneuvering.
