Wii Internet channel now available free
Opera browser now gratis
The Wii's Internet channel is now being offered for free by Nintendo, and this improved deal now covers all regions, we're pleased to report. The channel gives access to a special version of the Opera browser designed for the Wii. The browser used to cost 500 Wii Points, which is about 3.50 GBP.
If you've already forked-out the points to gain access to the internet on the Wii, Nintendo are set to deliver compensation in the shape of a free NES title - downloadable via the Virtual Console.
The free game deal will be delivered in late October, we're reliably informed. Happy downloading.
