Vempire is first PSP Go Mini
Puzzler to debut alongside console
One of Sony's few surprises at last week's GamesCom was the confirmation of a 'Minis' range for the PSP Go handheld, which is set to launch in October. Minis promise to be sub-100Mb games, to be sold and delivered digitally.
We've now been told that the first 'mini' is on the way, 'Vempire' being the first offering to debut as part of the collection.
The debutant will be a puzzle game of sorts, including a couple of cursory strategy elements, players charged with collecting artefacts and powers.
Luigi Fumero, Vempire designer, offered "We are pretty excited to have a title launched with the new Sony's channel. Vempire has been one of those titles that we have been thinking about and have been working on for a long time before deciding it was a perfect match for the PSP minis download service. Seeing the game being played by kids at the Sony's booth at the GamesCom last week has been a very high point of our careers."
PSP Minis will launch alongside PSP Go on October 1st. We'll bring you more, naturally.
