Cataclysm for World of Warcraft on the way
New races, level cap, dungeons and more
Blizzard have just confirmed that a brand spanking new expansion pack for World of Warcraft is on the way, Cataclysm revealed during a link-up with BlizzCon at an aftershow party in Cologne.
Through this new add-on the developers are promising to change the very face of Azeroth, the landscape torn asunder as the battle with the Lich King continues.
The pack will boost the level cap up to 85, with new dungeons and raids being planned en masse. A new achievements system will also be introduced for guild leveling.
The pack will give World of Warcraft two new playable races as well, Goblins on the Horde side and Worgen on the Alliance. Blizzard showed off not only new screenshots from the pack, but a trailer too, drawing cheers from both the BlizzCon and GamesCom crowds.
More on this very soon.
