Elder Scrolls V off the cards for Bethesda
Big boss plays down sequel talk
Chatting with BigDownload, Bethesda executive Todd Howard has hinted that a fifth Elder Scrolls game is presently not part of the firm's plans, although a number of unnamed titles are in the works at the company.
"We are working on our next big game but we are not talking about it," he teased at QuakeCon, adding that no fifth offering in the RPG series is "currently" planned.
Chatting with the media and id Software fans, Howard added that an Elder Scrolls MMO title might be considered, but once again it seems as if there are no plans currently underway.
Despite Bethesda playing it coy, we suspect Elder Scrolls V isn't quite as 'not on the table' as they'd have us belief. We'll keep our eyes peeled for more on this.
