Europe getting PS3 movie store at GC
Sony promise news in Cologne
Sony Computer Entertainment Europe have revealed today that next week's GamesCom 2009 will see the first details on Europe's PS3 video store coming to light.
"We will be making an official announcement regarding our forthcoming Video Store, next week, at GamesCom!" read word from PlayStation store boss Angela Madronero online.
A movie store was promised for launch in Europe this year at the Games Convention in Leipzig, but Sony have been very quiet on their plans until now.
In other news, Sony are refusing to comment on images published in China purporting to be of the PS3 Slim, while rumour of Sony's GamesCom conference being three hours long have been scotched by the company; who tell us that it will in fact last just over one hour.
