Xbox Live set for mobile platforms and more
New job ad teases over Live future
Not only are Microsoft still vowing to release a special version of the Xbox Live online service for multiplayer platforms, but they're also investigating other devices that might prove a suitable home for the service.
A launch on mobile phones and other portable devices has been on the cards for some time, but Microsoft are also interested in other outlets, if a new job listing is to be believed.
"The LIVE Engagement Team is looking for a LIVE Community Director to manage its LIVE community strategy and execution across a range of properties, from Xbox LIVE to Windows Mobile," reads the new ad.
"This senior position will play a vital role in the community space as the LIVE Engagement team builds and program's Microsoft's next-generation, LIVE-enabled casual and social gaming platform across the Web, the console, mobile and beyond."
Where else could Live go, though? More on this shortly.
