Final Fantasy XIII date promised soon
Square Enix mull Japanese debut for huge RPG
Speaking at a press conference in Tokyo last week, Square Enix chief Yoichi Wada has said that a date for long-awaited RPG Final Fantasy XIII could be offered in just a matter of weeks.
Wada told the Japanese press that he would make "an announcement in a few weeks", with some noting that this could mean Square Enix announcing the game's release at the Tokyo Game Show, scheduled for late September.
The new adventure is due out in Japan this winter on the PS3, with Western debuts on both PS3 and Xbox 360 expected in the spring of 2010.
We're hoping to see more on the title in Tokyo, Square having confirmed that the role-player will certainly be in attendance.
Thanks Kotaku.
