Iwata unhappy with Nintendo's E3 performance
Motion control titles hard to show-off, says exec
Nintendo boss-man Satoru Iwata has told investors that his firm's performance at E3 earlier this summer simply wasn't good enough. Most critics were of the opinion that Microsoft's briefing stole the show, and perhaps Iwata agrees.
"As for the media briefing at E3, of course we had many internal discussions after that," Iwata explained.
"Honestly speaking, none of us at Nintendo thought that our presentation at E3 was as good as it could have been. It is apparent that we could not fully convey the charm of our products."
He added that demonstrating motion-controlled games on stage is a difficult thing to pull off, noting that New Super Mario Bros on the Wii wasn't done justice by the presentation in Los Angeles.
