Sony want MAG speech writers
New contest in the offing
Sony are organising a rather unusual contest of sorts, promoting their upcoming epic online wargame MAG. The publisher are looking for inspiring battlefield speeches, with the best to be used in a new trailer for the shooter.
Big MAG-themed prizes are promised, and the top ten speeches selected will be recorded professionally for use.
Instructing players on the tone of the speech, Sony tell the PlayStation blog that scale is important - given the massively multiplayer pretensions of the game. Warring factions Raven, Valor and SVER could also be mentioned, to add personality to your address.
Sony also note that they "use Google too", so stealing lines from Churchill, Saving Private or elsewhere won't cut the mustard.
Lastly, entries should be 'clean' and should also read well 'out loud'. More on the blog.
