"We're not yet in a position to discuss specific plans, but we will do so in due course," the big cheese assured, stating that the series remains "somewhere out there".

The last couple of Medal of Honor games were released in 2007, before went back to the drawing board, presumably vowing to re-ignite the brand.

Rumour has it that the next iteration, a proper next-gen affair by some accounts, could be set in Afghanistan, which would make some sense when you consider the success rival series Call of Duty has had in the modern setting.
