EA report big losses

Revealing their first-quarter financial results, publishing giant EA admitted that there is still much work to be done, big boss John Riccitiello revealing a loss of 234 million USD for the quarter.
The firm made a loss of 95 million USD during the same quarter in the year prior, sales dropping to 644 million USD from 804 million USD a year ago.
"Good execution delivered better-than-expected financial results in the first quarter," Riccitiello offered, striking a positive note despite the big loss.
"We are very pleased with the success of both The Sims 3 and EA Sports Active."
EA Sports Active has so far sold over 1.8 million copies on the Wii, with The Sims 3 managing a whopping 3.7 million in sales.
