Warner-owned firm kills action title
Word on the block this morning has it that Midway could have pulled the plug on open-world action title This is Vegas - following the completion of Warner Bros take-over at the troubled publisher.
News of the potential axing comes via ActionTrip, who cite US retailer GameStop as having told pre-orderers that the game won't be released after all.
Midway had ambitions to make This is Vegas a headline-grabbing new IP for the firm, but preview reports had been mixed, the game maker strangely silent on the title in recent months.
Update: Word on the street this morning has it that This is Vegas has not be chopped, Warner Bros opting instead to complete work on the game. This from the firm: "This is Vegas has not been cancelled. The game is currently in production." Thanks G4.
