Jovovich talks up next Resident Evil flick
Afterlife all about the money
Movie star Milla Jovovich has been talking up the next movie in the Resident Evil series, the series' long-term heroine stating that director Paul WS Anderson will be pulling out all the stops to make the next film a 3D extravaganza.
Jovovich also notes that the series has been a commercial hit so far, persuading all those involved to make a new film - that will boast a very large budget indeed.
"The movie makes money. If it makes more money than the last one, you'd think that people want to see another one, so we'll do another one. There's been a lot of interest online, there's been a lot of letters from fans," the starlet commented online.
"It's not like I said, 'Hey, honey! Let's do another one right away!' I mean, it's an expensive film and it's all business and if the third one didn't do well, there wouldn't be another one."
3D a-go-go, we're promised; Resident Evil: Afterlife is earmarked for a September 2010 launch.
