Speaking on their official forums, Telltale Games describe the as a more powerful gaming platform than the and DS.

Responding to complaints about the visual quality of Tales of Monkey Island on the Wii console, one programmer responds noting that WiiWare's 40Mb file limit puts all kinds of constraints on game makers - compared to the typical 150Mb size of releases.

"The voices and textures are the way they are because we're limited to 40 megs for titles. The PC versions of our games are usually 150+ megs, and most modern games range anywhere from one to ten gigabytes or more. Talk to about this one," the programmer responded.

"Frame rate will probably get sorted out eventually, but keep in mind that the Wii is just not a powerful console. An iPhone is much more powerful than a Wii, even. The Wii and are extremely underpowered and their popularity doesn't remove the limitations."
