Dreamworks plan new game deal
Activision partnership set to expire
Movie studio Dreamworks are hard at work behind the scenes on a brand new licensing deal, covering the interaction versions of their film properties.
Currently, Dreamworks have a game deal with Activision, but this is set to expire next summer, the movie giant hoping to tie up a deal that will last until 2011.
Dreamworks are also creating Oobermind with THQ, and we hear that without the Activision agreement the studio's revenue would have been down by as much as a third.
It is unclear whether Activision are in pole position to retain their relationship with Dreamworks, but we'll bring you more as we get it. Thanks GI.biz.
