Sony fans have been angered by Team 17's stance with regard to Alien Breed Evolution, which will be a timed exclusive on the Live Arcade, despite clamours from the camp.

Team 17 chief Martyn Brown denies that this is a case of 'bribery', but does admit that the publisher have promised extra promotion for the game, and lashings of support.

"I understand that. It's difficult. Obviously we'd like everything on every platform day one. The LIVE thing... we get accused of being bribed or we've took Microsoft's money, and it's all bol**cks," Videogamer were told by the big cheese.

"The reason is that we've got a long relationship with Microsoft's first party unit. We get on great with them. In exchange for exclusivity we get a lot more promotion. We've got a closer deal with them. That's just how it is. It's unfortunate. That's just how we work."

Brown was quick to also point out that the has its own exclusive games, like Super Stardust HD.
