Word on the block has it that after several months of tussles have won their against toymakers Jakks Pacific, over the specifics of the WWE license the two firms both share.

According to Gamasutra, the deal sees all contract wrangling put aside, Jakks forced to accept six percent of the royalties from THQ's WWE wrestling games, where once they were receiving 10 percent.

With this part of the dispute between the firms now concluded, there's just the small matter of ongoing litigation between the companies over the extension of the WWE license, THQ claiming that Jakks acted unilaterally without consulting the game maker in extending the deal.

More on all this seems likely.
