Evidence continues to emerge suggesting the games might not be quite as proof as originally hoped, Amazon.com blaming poor Q2 results on a slowdown in videogame-related business.

Of course, the release schedule has been fairly barren, which can't help, but there is apparently more afoot than merely a slight lull.

Profits and were up still overall, but the retailer's share price has dropped, 'media' sales apparently falling very 'flat' in the USA.
