Speaking this week, a representative has let slip that is still progressing apace on the firm's non-Halo project, and while no publisher has yet been found for the secret game, a deal is getting closer.

"I think internally we'll know sometime soon. I don't handle these things, but I'd imagine we're going to know way before we make the public announcement of who's handling that!" Lars Bakken revealed to Eurogamer.net.

"But sure, I think those talks are, I guess, close."

Interest in this new project is likely to be very intense, given the developer's pedigree, while we're hopeful of word on what this new game is all about sooner or later. What's the betting on something non-sci-fi?
