Community games get cheaper on XBLA
Microsoft look to give things a prod
Community games having not gone down as well as hoped on Xbox Live, and recognising the need to give things a push, Microsoft have re-jigged their pricing - with some games now as cheap as 1 USD.
Nothing as pricey as 800 Microsoft Points is possible now, the platform holder aiming for more 'bite-sized' pricing, perhaps in a nod to the success of Apple's App Store model.
400 points, 240 points and 80 points pricings are now available - with developer's creations 50Mb in size now moving onto the 80 points tier - 200 points offerings also revising downwards unless the developers in question take action.
Games currently priced in the lofty 800 category will stay that way until after an update to the title in question. We'll bring you more on Microsoft's 'Community' initiatives soon.
