Sony plot TGS keynote address
Platform holder looks to wow Tokyo following Cologne
It looks as if Sony could be planning some hefty news at this year's Tokyo Game Show, the platform holder having reserved headline-grabbing talky-time for big boss Kaz Hirai.
Sony Computer Entertainment boss Hirai will be pushing Sony's vision of the gaming future as the main, keynote speaker in Tokyo, with the address scheduled for September 24th at 10.30am.
Hirai's speech will be called 'New Tactics for 2009', and this could be the moment at which Sony lift the lid on fresh revisions of the PS3 hardware - and possibly (I'm going to say it) a price cut.
Of course, all this could instead be unveiled at Gamescom in Cologne next month, at which we will also be present. A case of watch this space, then.
