Scenes of a sexual nature for Alpha Protocol
Obsidian don't shy away from saucy stuff
Obsidian's new espionage-themed RPG Alpha Protocol will include sex scenes in addition to the violence and chit-chat you were already expecting.
While these story elements may be controversial, we hear they won't be gameplay elements, producer Nathan Davis describing these segment as 'satisfying' but 'tasteful'.
"We do some things with our cinematics, too. It isn't just like a hand up on a thing! We cut around it a little bit. It's an American game! What can I say? There are limits to what we can do there," Davis offered in a new interview with UK site Videogamer.
"I've seen a few of the cinematics for those and it ends up being satisfying without being... you know... over... you know?
"No God of War sex scenes! We don't have that."
A number of big games now do include sex scenes, taking their cues from Hollywood, although titles like Mass Effect have come in for criticism from some quarters for daring to do sex in video games.
