Both due this November, 2 on and exclusive title Assassin's Creed: Bloodlines will be compatible with one another according to producer Frederic Lefrancois.

"As players unlock health and Hidden blade upgrades in Assassin's Creed 2 PS3, the same upgrades will be unlocked in Assassin's Creed: Bloodlines," states Lefrancois on the US PlayStation blog.

It'll work the other way round too, says Lefrancois.

"On the PS3 you will be able to access any Templar Coins and special weapons you've collected on the PSP."

Assassin's Creed: Bloodlines bridges the gap between AC1 and 2, resuming Altair's story as he does his sneaky killing thing without Al Mualim breathing down his neck.

The pick-pocketing, eavesdropping and other investigative techniques are now bolstered by 8 additional mission types, injecting some much-needed variety into the game.

Meanwhile, Assassin's Creed 2 introduces new hero Ezio for more free-running, face stabbing action.
