First day of Battlefield 1943 sees 5 million kills

Oh, the humanity!

According to a post of fun facts on the EA Forums Battlefield 1943 thread there were 5 million kills during the first day.

This is only on Xbox Live mind you, despite the need to double server capacity in order to cope with demand.

There was also 29.45 years of gaming clocked on the first day of play. Wow.

War really is hell.

Battlefield 1943 is available to download on Xbox Live, PSN and PC.
