Battlefield 1943 now available on Xbox Live

Battlefield 1943 has launched on Xbox Live arcade today, going for the very reasonable price of 1200MS points (just over a tenner).

Set during the Pacific campaign of World War II, the game is multiplayer only, supporting manic fun for up to 24 players.The game allows you to play as either a rifleman, ruthless tank commander or ace fighter pilot keeping the skies safe for the little people below.

If you're not entirely convinced that a multiplayer war zone is for you however, then as always there's a free trial version to download.
