Microsoft's real-time Live quiz 1 vs 100 is going to be free for non-Gold subscribers as part of a taster, but only for this weekend, we're told.

The game show has just launched, and are clearly keen to show off this ambitious social quiz show to Silver subscribers - perhaps in the hope of converting a few freeloaders over to paid-for accounts.

A car was apparently dished out on 1 vs 100 last week, and Silver members will have access to all the impressive, real prizes that are offered to Live Gold members.
