Tigon exec says Hollywood doesn't 'get' games
But movie types are being forced to reconsider
Vin Diesel is one Hollywood star that certainly does appreciate good games, but Ian Stevens, head of Diesel's Tigon Studios game developer - says that as a general rule Hollywood doesn't really care about games.
Speaking to GI.biz, Stevens says Hollywood-types are now being forced to show games a little more respect, mainly because games are now big business.
"There's certainly no shortage of guys that look at games and see them as toys, and meaningless bullshit, and now look at revenue - and for their own survival's sake have to care, and have to get involved," Stevens offered.
"I think a lot of it has changed because we're making so much more money than they are."
