Free Assassin's Creed II 'palace' for GameStop purchasers
Extravagant in-game bonus revealed
Those pre-ordering Assassin's Creed II via GameStop will be given an in-game code for an authentic 15th Century palace by way of a reward, we're told this morning.
Florentine palace, The Palazzo Medici, will be available to explore in game for those ordering through GameStop in the US, and this includes both Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of the game (but not the PC...).
This from the US retailer: "Reserve Assassin's Creed 2 and receive a GameStop exclusive code to unlock one of the Renaissance's most prestigious monuments, the Palazzo Medici. You will receive exclusive access to this majestic building, and the freedom to discover the treasure hidden within it's ancient walls.
We've no word yet on whether this palace will be offered via other partners in places outside of the US. Here's hoping.
