UK blog VG247 today post that are looking to increase their talent, and will make a bid for game makers Codemasters.

The Britsoft firm, home to DiRT, Overlord and the official game license, are apparently top of Warner's list, having snapped up just before completed the 33 million dollar acquisition of Midway.

Apparently, Warner have completed due diligence, but GI.biz were told that won't be commenting. "We won't respond to that story. Everything is fine here."

Codemasters have grown rapidly in recent years, and there genre properties alone would make them an interesting target for the likes of Warner.
