StarCraft II beta looms nearer
Blizz tease over nearing start
Speaking with Press2Play (thanks VG247), StarCraft II producer Chris Sigaty has teased that a beta test for StarCraft II is - at last - very nearly with us.
"What I can tell you is that we're working hard on it right now, and we're getting very, very close," he enthused.
"We don't have an announcement on it right now, but we're not years away at this point, and we're not even quarters away at this point. Very soon, very soon."
The game maker added that while Blizzard are working hard to release the RTS title this year, that they won't unleash the game until it is ready. Early maneuverings involving the Battle.net service and beta access accounts having hinted that the developer might be getting ready to finally commence testing.
