Aliens: Colonial Marines slides into 2010

Gearbox admit to delays

Speaking with US blog Kotaku, chatty Gearbox chief Randy Pitchford has revealed that Aliens: Colonial Marines won't be released until next year now.

The atmosphere-heavy action game was originally earmarked for release on the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 this year.

While Gearbox's title has been pushed back, we should perhaps be grateful that it hasn't met the same fate as Obsidian's Aliens RPG, which was axed by Sega at the beginning of the year.
