Sony chief Jack Tretton is understandably somewhat miffed that most of Sony's big E3 news made it to the internet some weeks ahead of their press conference in LA.

Tretton says that people in the games don't respect confidentiality, and he blames third-parties for spoiling Sony's big announcements.

"People don't respect confidentiality in this industry. It's tough enough to keep a secret within your own company, much less when you speak to third parties."

CEO Tretton continued: "This is an industry that has trouble focusing on today. We want to constantly talk about tomorrow. You have to prepare for people to know things in advance. The frustrating thing is they only know a part of the story and that opens up a lot of conjecture and misinformation that ultimately waters down the reality when you roll it out."

Sony are presumably somewhat miffed that have been credited with 'stealing' E3 in some quarters; especially given that some of Sony's news would have been far more climatic were it not for the pre-show leaks.
