The latest gaming numbers have been unleashed in Japan, and they show that last week of consoles dropped in the land of the rising sun - presumably prompted by a rather bare release schedule.

The leads the way - as has become the norm - with sales of nearly 39,000 over the week, followed by the with just over 29,000. Then there's the console with over 17,000 units shifted.

Entering the lower regions of the chart, the managed over 10,000 units, the up on well over 6,000 next (the only system to sell more this week), while the Lite had nearly 6,000 sales followed by the with over 4,000.
