Atomic look to save Six Days in Fallujah
Publisher still being sought
Following public outcry surrounding the content of Atomic's Six Days in Fallujah game, publisher Konami dropped their support of the title like a stone - leaving the developer scrambling to find a new backer.
While Konami ran away in April, interest in the game remains strong - with Atomic in talks with other interested parties - boss Peter Tamte admitting that his team should have played closer attention to the concerns of veterans in order to head-off the game's controversial impact.
"We have a lot of people who are interested in the project... But I'll feel better when we sign something and the checks start coming," Tamte admitted.
The game is billed as a realistic and gritty look at this key Iraq war battle, and it raised US shackles when it was first announced earlier this year.
