A few more details on Microsoft's plans to integrate Last.fm into Live have emerged this week; the service will hit Live in late 2009.

We're not sure exactly when the service will launch still, but from what we can gather this will be a fairly faithful interpretation of the popular service - allowing users to create and share playlists and Last.fm 'stations'.

A Party Radio feature will allow Last.fm users to listen to music together, and all the artist information you could ever want will be available.

The music service will be free to use for Gold subscribers.
